i was born in upstate new york, raised in wilmington, nc, and now i go to school/live in raleigh, nc. i have two incredible parents who have taught me what unconditional love really looks like, two older brothers who support and protect me (like they're supposed to), and a beautiful sister-in-law who fits perfectly into the mix. i am a sophomore at nc state university and i'm majoring in social work. my plan, which is extremely subject to change, is to go to grad school for clinical social work. since i was 16, i have felt that God has called me to work with teenage girls. my dream is to one day open a private counseling practice geared specifically towards the teenage girl population. right now, i work with young life which is a volunteer high school ministry. it amazes me how God has orchestrated my passion, his plan, and a ministry dear to my heart to work together for, literally, a heavenly purpose. Jesus is teaching me how to trust. how to deny myself for his purpose- which is greater than i can ever imagine. my passion, my education, this blog, and, of course, the run- it's all for his glory.
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3.20
